Slip on and Slides

Sports luxe is a key fashion word this summer. And footwear is no exception. I love good comfy footwear so I am all for this trend. 

Slides and trainers are going to be on everyones feet. Isabelle Marant has put slides on the catwalk and Pheobe Phillo has given us that trainer feeling. here are some of what the hight street has to offer and what i have my eye on.

I have recently discovered this brand. Its by two girls that offer made in the UK classic tailoring and home furnishings. It screams timeless and elegant. Super Cute

Have you seen the new Paddington Bear range at Gap. Its so very cute. Its limited edition so wont be on those shelves for very long. My favourite is the white dress ( not for my little man) and the duffel coat.

Poppy is really into apples this week. We take one with us wherever we go.

Keeping it Simple

I love white shirts at the moment. I haven't always but they just seem to work for me now, without the feeling that you are in work wear. perhaps its a throwback to school days and once you no longer have to wear the uniform we forever associate the shirt as part of it.
Now its part of a new uniform. One that shouts simplicity, comfort, casual and smart all at once. Its a universal wear for all ages look and doesn't have to expensive.

Bright Idea.

Check out these Cage lights from The Electrical Shop. You can plug these in anywhere. I'm thinking bedside lamps. I think they are a good price at £49. The fabric cable comes in a range of colours So will fit in everywhere.

Two - 52

This little man is getting lots of tummy, hes not always happy about it but we give it a go everyday.

Poppy and her scooter are never parted. She takes it everywhere. School, shops, park you name it she's on it.

Jeans

Of course they are your everyday staple. Dress up dress down they are the most versatile pieces in our wardrobe. I wear skinnies but recently have been wearing boyfriend and flared too. I have to say that i am getting used to flared jeans again but i do really like them. I am also loving skinny ripped jeans and they seem to be everywhere.
