We have some fantastic local shops and we should all remember to use them as much as we can.  I have a great local Toy shop, Hop. The sell fantastic toys for children of all ages as well as cards, books and toiletries.

Keeping Cool

i think its hard to keep cool in this weather and look totally perfect crisp and clean, esp when you are pregnant!! there isn't a lot out there that i personally find stylish to wear and fulfills the above brief. This dress from YMC i think comes pretty close. Its a cute summer, non maternity dress you can adapt to your bump and if, like me, you are due in the summer months you can wear after the birth when you are breast feeding.

This store has been around a while in Notting Hill and whilst i don't get the opportunity to visit i do frequently look online. Its a fantastic store with a mix of European and International labels, simple yet stylish designs for Men, Women, Children and Homeware. A one stop shop.

People of The Sun

I discovered this fantastic website with some real home treats.  Its called People Of The Sun. Its a non profit social enterprise based in Malawi. They have local artisans making home furniture and accessories. Selling them locally and world wide and trying to lift the Artisans out of poverty. It really is worth looking up this site and purchasing some of their fantastic products.
I really love the garden seating, containers and cushions. In fact there isn't anything I don't like!!

Fridays Bargain

I do love & other Stories and when i found these espadrilles i knew they would work for me in this summer heat. They have a silk upper and are so soft and comfortable i just had to had a pair. they do more styles in store if you are lucky enough to live in London . If not there are 4 colours online. Well worth every penny. Hooray for Fridays!!
